The 25 people are whalers who heavily purchase MTX and any new event that comes out. The 75 people are casual players who pay for membership and maybe the odd MTX. Jagex is a company and needs to make money. 75 people on the left, 25 people on the right. Say you have a room filled with 100 people. That has nothing to do with it at all and is a coping mechanism people like you use lol, especially blowing it out of the water with "omg you have such an unhealthy obsession" when all the dude said was that there's people who defend shitty practices lol. I've always loved being a skiller enthusiast but these days less and less people enjoy skilling. How can we revive the active skilling culture in RS3? It's so sad. Yet in OSRS people are willing to put the extra mile to get their goals done faster. Nowadays, the RS Wiki has a lot of high intensity 15m+ gp/h methods that require no bossing yet they remain consistently profitable (ie runecrafting). How come on RS3 we rarely see it these days? More and more of the playerbase seems to want whatever gives them the AFK. In OSRS you see all kinds of fast but click intensive methods like agility + alch running and many forms of tick manipulation with skilling. I know back in the 2015-2018 days there was stuff like 1-ticking the last potion for Herblore, 2-tick Hunter, scatter ashes + bury bones, 3-tick cooking, dwarves > elves, etc. It seems like updates in recent years are more geared towards those who wants AFK methods as opposed to fast but active methods. Judging by the posts on this subreddit, most people wouldn't do anything active unless it's bossing. You can read the full text of the rules here.Ĭompared to OSRS it seems like RS3 doesn't have the Skilling culture and dedication. General discussion on Treasure Hunter and other MTX is allowed.
